The many benefits of Yoga include improvements in balance, flexibility, muscle tone, body awareness, postural alignment, stress management and concentration. Students’ comfort and individual needs are a priority, so everyone will not perform the postures in the same manner. You’ll be encouraged to work at your present level, and individual help is always available. Blocks, blankets, straps and bolsters are used to extend your flexibility. Bring your mat and a beach-sized towel and wear comfortable clothing. It’s best that you not eat prior to class. Instructor Charlotte Sego, M.Ed., certified in Hatha Yoga and Reiki. This class meets for 8 weeks on Monday nights, but skips April 1st.
