Best Vineyards, the award-winning winery located in Elizabeth, Indiana, is excited to host a fundraiser for the Elizabeth Lion’s Club, Saturday, October 27th beginning at 12:00 pm. Best will be donating 10% of all wine sales that day to raise funds for a new van for the Veterans of Harrison County.
In addition to the fundraiser, Best is holding a Talent Contest that day 1-3:00 pm. Whether your talent is musical, theatrical or comical, Best wants to see your act. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top performers. First place prize is $200 cash, second place prize is $100 cash and third place prize is $50. Only amateurs may compete in the talent contest. Each performance is limited to five minutes. Contestants can only compete once, whether as a solo or group act. For musical acts, contestants must supply back-up music on a CD labeled with act’s name and track number to be played unless other arrangements are made in advance with Best. For a complete list of rules and for anyone interested in participating, please email Rachel Best at firstname.lastname@example.org.
For entry into contest, please include the following information: contact’s name, address, phone number, performer(s)/act name, and a description of talent to be performed.
Attendees of the day’s events not only can enjoy the delicious award-winning wines created by Best and cheese trays provided by the Elizabeth Lion’s Club, but also live music by the Muskett Brother’s from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. As part of Best’s ongoing Fall Concert series, Best is happy to once again feature the Muskett Brothers with their vintage finger style blues guitar sound.
