It's been on extended, indefinite hiatus since last summer, but - for 2 NIGHTS ONLY - BlackListed Comedy returns with a second take of The BlackListed Comedy/Variety Special! This time, The Alley Theater (1210 Franklin St) plays host to this standup comedy/local talent showcase featuring comedy, music, magic and more. Ed Black (co-host of Crescent Hill Radio's "CHR COMEDY ZONE") presents TWO Co-Headlining Comedians, both annointed by LEO Readers as THE BEST in their field: Having appeared in the local film, "Wingman", and often a recurring performer with "Young, Dumb and Full of Comedy", Kent Carney is joined by an unparalled force of comedy, that LEO Readers couldn't help but vote him in 2012 as '2nd Best', The Devil's Attic's own Todd Merriman!
As if this embarrasement of comedic riches wasn't enough, there's even more... Local musician Jon-Mark Sandquist (also known as "He Who Shall Not Be Named") also brings his brand of guitar mastery and original music to the stage, while the host of Comedy Caravan's "The List", Bryan Kennison, delivers News from the week that was with "What Bryan Calls News"... AND we also welcome magical, mystical illusionry of local Magician, Draven!
It's so much entertainment, it should cost a fortune, right? WRONG! Tickets to this once (maybe twice) in a lifetime event are only $12, and you can purchase tickets NOW online at www.thealleytheater.org.
Don't miss this one! The BlackListed Comedy/Variety Special doesn't happen often, but when it does, it's a night to remember, and you'll regret passing on the opportunity to see it -- so get your tickets for Jan 18th or 19th now!
