Please join  Glenn Crothers for a book discussion of Creating a Confederate Kentucky: The Lost Cause and Civil War Memory in a Border State by Anne Marshall. This book traces the Confederate identity in post-Civil War Kentucky. Dr. A. Glenn Crothers is the Director of Research at The Filson Historical Society and an associate professor of History at the University of Louisville. His research interests include southern United States history before 1865. Make sure to attend the lecture with author Anne Marshall on September 9! Anne Marshall’s discussion of the book will give a background on this period in history and will enhance your enjoyment of the book discussion. Reservations are suggested.
