CASA of the River Region will host its second annual Bourbon by the Bridge at the Waterfront Park, Big Four Bridge on Saturday, June 14, 2014 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The event will raise awareness and funds to help hundreds of abused and neglected children in Greater Louisville.
Over 300 participants took to the event last year, enjoying tastings from multiple distilleries. This year, the following distilleries will be hosting tastings: Four Roses Bourbon, Heaven Hill Distilleries, Brown-Forman, Grouppo Campari (Wild Turkey & Russell’s Reserve), Jefferson’s (Castle Brands), Angel’s Envy and Boundary Oaks Distillery. Other beverages will also be made available, such as wine from Old 502 Winery.
Event goers will be able to engage with distillery staff while enjoying hors d’oeuvres by The Catering Company and jazz music of local band, John Scharffenberg Band. Desserts will be provided courtesy of Maker’s Mark Lounge.
For tickets, visit www.bourbonbythebridge.com. If you buy your tickets by Saturday, June 7, your name will be entered into a raffle to win a bourbon-filled basket.
