The Brown Hotel is hosting 2 recurring music-themed events in the Lobby Bar that I thought you may be interested in for your event calendar. On Thursdays and Fridays this June and July, professional pianist Sue Ann Stone will lead a 3-hour set of modern sing-along worthy songs in the Brown Hotel’s Lobby Bar area. From 6 to 9 p.m., guests are encouraged to join in singing or sit and enjoy a drink at the bar while she plays Broadway show tunes and jazz era standards. For fans of classical music, pianist and narrator Nada Loutfi will perform every Sunday afternoon from 4 to 5 p.m. Each week, Loutfi crafts a new hour-long program of traditional chamber music for guests to enjoy while lounging on couches in the Brown Hotel lobby. Her intent is to recreate the feeling of a European salon in an intimate setting and often brings guest musicians and singers to join her. A summer signature cocktail menu is available at the Lobby Bar at both events with offerings like a Bisontini with Buffalo Trace cream liqueur and bourbon with a hint of nutmeg or Cardinal Mojito with Prichard’s cranberry rum, mint syrup, lime and a splash of Club Soda. Guests can also enjoy tapas prepared by Executive Chef Laurent Geroli.
