It’s 1811 at Locust Grove under the warm glow of candles. The house shines warmly as the Clark and Croghan families prepare to greet their guests. Mantels and stairs are draped with fresh greens and fruits of all varieties. Out in the kitchen, the cook directs the preparation of the desserts for the houseguests. This wonderful family event takes you back to an earlier time as you tour Locust Grove by candlelight. Refreshments and children’s craft activities in the Audubon Room of the Visitors Center. Seasonal book sale.
