Join the Metro Parks Natural Areas Division Land Manager and the volunteer team of Land Stewards to continue restoration work at Caperton Swamp, 3916 River Road. This beautiful area is a haven for bird and wildlife, but is under siege by invasive plants. Removal efforts have already cleared several acres of this 29-acre park, with the goal to follow up with native planting in the fall and spring. To assist with this project, individuals are welcome at regularly scheduled project days (every Wednesday, and first Saturday of each month) at 9:00 a.m.
Please call to sign up or request more information: 380-1753.
