Radio Disney 98.3FM Indianapolis, part of the #1 radio network for kids, tweens and families, hosts its annual day of family fun at the Indiana State Fairgrounds with the Central Indiana Chevy Dealers’ Family Fun Day Experience, presented by ARS/Rescue Rooter. Hosted this year at Indiana State Fairgrounds’ Dow AgroSciences Celebration Park on SATURDAY, JUNE 16 (12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.), Radio Disney 98.3FM will provide Midwest area kids and families with a fun-filled afternoon of entertainment and exhibitors.
The on-stage entertainment, powered by Fifth Third Bank and YMCA of Greater Indianapolis, will be hosted by Radio Disney’s lead on-air personality Ernie D. Performances include a concert by "N.B.T." (Next BIG Thing) Season Four Winner Shealeigh at 3:30 p.m. Following her performance, fans will have a chance to take pictures with Shealeigh and Ernie D during a hosted meet and greet session*. Favorite local performers - including (but not limited to) Kelly Taylor, South Six 5, Music in Action Cru, Duncan Crew, Julia Kahn, Seth Cook, Bri, Anxiety Crew - and the Radio Disney Road Crew will provide entertainment including music, dancing, games and prizes including the chance to win a variety of prizes, including the grand prize: "Family Experience Pack" full of certificates, memberships, and items and experiences from many participating exhibitors.
Free and open to the public, the popular and well-received theme of "Explore Indianapolis and beyond…the world in your backyard" will return as this year's focus inviting local area families to interact with over 75 exhibitors from venues and organizations in Indianapolis and the surrounding Midwest areas. Attendees will be able to experience activities and discover services through a wide variety of interactive and decorative exhibitor booths, reminding families that there are always new things to explore in their own backyard. Activities include petting a shark and meeting wildlife animals, grooming ponies, bounce houses, arts and crafts, sports activities, and more.
