ConGlomeration is Louisville's annual science fiction and fantasy convention. Authors, artists, publishers, actors, cosplayers, gamers, vendors, scientists, musicians, and other fans of science fiction, fantasy, comics, superheroes, and other forms pop culture and speculative fiction.
Author: Ian "Lizard" Harac is an alpha nerd who leads a science fiction writers group, and has written various novels and games himself, including The Rainbow Connection in which an FBI agent goes to the land of Oz to solve a munchkin's murder.
Publisher: Jason Sizemore of Apex Books is a "hillbilly done good." He has worked with some of the biggest names in science fiction today, even garnering a Hugo nomination for his work.
Artist: Beth Trott is primarily a watercolorist but also works in a number of other mediums, including digital, oils, graphite, and pen and ink. Her clients include Fantasy Flight Games, Paizo Publishing, White Wolf Publishing, and Wizards of the Coast, and Harper Collins.
Scientist: LVL1 Hackerspace is Louisville's mad science consortium. Members have access to 3D printers and other exotic devices. At ConGlomeration, attendees can use their equipment to explode a watermelon with the power of their mind.
Performer: The Alley Theater will give two performance, included in your ConGlomeration admission, Commander Cody and Flash Gordon.
Musician: Il Troubadore specializes in Klingon klezmer. You won't believe how traditional Jewish folk music sounds "in the original Klingon."
