The Crackers of Comedy Tour is coming all the way from Tennessee to The Bards Town Theatre on Saturday April 21st, 2012 at 8pm. The Crackers of Comedy is a stand-up comedy tour featuring comedian/writer Matt Ward and Cocke County, Police Officer turned comedian Grady Ray. Also performing will be Louisville's Ranaan Hershberg and Tyler Jackson.
Matt Ward Bio:
Matt Ward spent six years in sales middle management in the corporate world. One day he snapped, the next day he was doing stand-up comedy for a living. Since leaving his corporate prison, Ward has performed in 14 states logging over 35,000 miles and making new fans everywhere he goes. He has produced shows for and performed with Maria Bamford, Kyle Grooms, Kyle Kinane, Rory Scovel and Doug Stanhope. He prides himself in constant writing aiming to give a brand new show each time he returns to a town. Ward released his comedy decut “Glamorous” on Halloween of 2011. Matt is the founder of the Crackers of Comedy Tour.
Grady Ray Bio:
Grady Ray has seen more then most. As a bi-racial (former) police officer from Eastern Tennessee, Grady has a deep well of experiences coupled with a creative wit that melts the crowd like chocolate rain drops. Ray was raised and currently resides in Cocke County, Tennessee, a part of the country known for moonshining, weed farming, chop shops, brothels and cock fighting. Grady has performed regularly at Side Splitters Comedy Club in Knoxville and the Magnetic Field in Asheville, North Carolina.
