D’arkestra is an eight piece band led by multi-instrumentalist and composer drew miller. Drew has played or recorded with Lucky Pineapple, Another 7 Astronauts, Cheyenne Mize, 23 string band, the Ladybirds, SPOON, WANDA JACKSON, and many others. D’arkestra began in 2012 as an experiment of sound and as an outlet for composition/arranging and naturally evolved into an iron clad group of friends chasing dreams and enjoying the spirit of creation through making music. While the emphasis is on composition and arkestration, there is still plenty of space for improvisation and spontaneous creation. The music is cinematic and covers a broad range of musical expression and orientation.
