DIABETES DAYTIME SMALL GROUP CLASSES TO MEET IN JANUARY ST. MATTHEWS -- Baptist Hospital East is offering a daytime small group diabetes class from 12:30-4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5, completed on Tuesday, Jan. 12. The next set of classes will begin Tuesday, Jan. 19 and end Tuesday, Jan. 26. The class will be in the second-floor Education Center of the hospital, 4000 Kresge Way. Certified diabetes educators will teach participants how to manage their diabetes, new ways to eat and exercise and how to monitor their progress. Friends and family are invited at no extra charge.
