DinnerWorks is an invitational exhibit of 15 sets of handmade dinnerware displayed on designer-decorated tables. Artists from around the country are invited to participate in the exhibit. Each artist is required to produce 8 place settings of dinnerware to be displayed. Each designer is given an approximately 9 x 11 foot space in which to create an environment that is both visually appealing and complementary to the dinnerware artist’s work. The soaring rotunda of the Louisville Visual Art Association’s historic Water Tower location provides the perfect dramatic backdrop for this inspired interpretation of the fine art of dining.
