Switzerland County Tourism invites the public to “Doodle our Walls” during Vevay Main Street’s Chalk the Walk First Friday. The event will take place on June 7 from 6-9 pm at the Switzerland County Visitors Center at 128 West Main Street in Vevay.
Have you ever wanted to go crazy with a fat marker? Here’s your chance as staff as the Visitors Center invite both the young and young at heart to explore their “inner doodler” and jazz up the center’s walls with their artistic creations.
A table will be provided for youth artists, with artwork to be hung by staff from the Visitor Center walls. Adults are invited to create directly on the designated wall. Guests’ masterpieces will hang throughout the month of June. (All drawings will be monitored and inappropriate renderings will not be tolerated.)
Vevay Main Street First Fridays are held monthly and include late night shopping, dining, entertainment and free carriage rides around downtown Vevay. Live entertainers include Jimmy Davis, Delta Blues/Country; Greg Ziesemer & Kriss Luckett, Americana Folk; Jamonn Zeiler, Acoustic Soft Rock; and Rhythm and Groove, Acoustic Blues.
