The Brown Hotel is the perfect place to bring the family for a seasonal, stress-free Christmas Day meal. The English Grill will be open on Tuesday, Dec. 25 offering a special menu of modern and traditional holiday dishes created by executive chef Laurent Géroli and his culinary team. Reservations are required for the Christmas Day feast and can be made by calling The Brown Hotel at (502) 583-1234.
Marvel at the hotel’s grand two-story Christmas tree and elegant holiday decorations as you enjoy the Christmas Day menu at the English Grill. Dinner begins with a delicious appetizer buffet that includes soup, antipasto, salads, seafood, assorted breads with international and Capriole Farms cheeses and breakfast pastries. Entrées will be served in the dining room, and include a choice of lobster and scallops, cast iron seared filet mignon or marinated loin of lamb. The decadent Viennese dessert display includes homemade peppermint marshmallows, red velvet cake shooters, gingerbread bread pudding, assorted cookies and many more lavish treats. The cost is $63 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Seating times are 12:30, 12:45, 1, 3:30, 3:45, and 4 p.m.
Children (ages 4-12) can choose from a la carte options along with the buffet for $20. They’ll find that their favorite dishes, like chicken tenders, mashed potatoes, roasted petit filet and macaroni and cheese, are on the menu.
