Come out for the 82nd Annual Fairdale Fair on the grounds of the Fairdale Playtorium! Enjoy booths, crafts, games, food, raffles and more from 5-11pm Friday. Saturday’s fair festivities kick off with a parade at noon followed by more fair fun until 11pm. Stop by Councilwoman Vicki Aubrey Welch’s District 13 Health Expo from 2-6pm in the Playtorium for free health screenings and information. Free blood pressure, blood glucose, bone density and pulmonary functioning tests will be offered as well as a flu shot clinic (Medicare and $25.99 cash payment). The fair is on the New Cut Road Trolley Hop route, which will be running from 10am to 4pm Saturday – board for FREE at any TARC or Trolley stop between Iroquois Park & Amphitheater and Jefferson Memorial Forest.
