LOUISVILLE, KY – Flame Run contemporary art glass studio connects the parallels between glass and water with “Under the Sea,”
an exhibit that opens Oct. 2 and runs through Nov. 20. The gallery will host a reception and demonstration from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on opening night.
“Glass and water share a lot of similarities, like transparency, fluidity, and reflection,” said Flame Run co-owner Brook Forrest White Jr. “That’s why the sea and the origins of life are such a common theme in glass art.”
Confirmed participants include: Tommy Spake of Chattanooga, TN, Jake Pfeifer of Gladstone, NJ, Bryan Holden and Tiffany Zink of Louisville as well as White, Jonathan Capps, Tiffany Ackerman, and Susie Slabaugh of Flame Run.
