For the 25th consecutive year, Derby City Tea Rose Foundation is pleased to present Derby City Men Who Cook Gala from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, June 16 at the Kentucky Center for African American Heritage, 1701 W. Muhammad Ali Boulevard.

This signature fundraising event will feature the culinary offerings of more than 40 of Louisville’s finest non-professional and professional cooks, competing in one of five categories (appetizer, entrée, side dish, dessert and professional) for the “judges” or the audience of about 350. Guests, who pay $35 for a ticket in advance to one of the foundation members ($40 at the door), will be able to sink their teeth into these tasty delights, after which they can vote for their favorites, crowning the 2012 Men Who Cook Champions in each category.
