School Choice Scholarships is a nonprofit organization that was founded in 1998 on the core principle that a quality primary education is the key to breaking out of the generational cycle of poverty. School Choice Scholarships allows families to send their children to one of more than 60 private elementary and middle schools of their choice in Jefferson and Oldham counties. Since its inception, School Choice, the only program of its kind in Kentucky, has provided over 4,000 scholarships and invested over 8 million dollars in our community’s most at-risk children.
