Hear what life is like for the wife of a famed jockey!
The Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft will host a gallery talk by Lisa Borel, wife of Derby winning jockey Calvin Borel, on Thursday, September 23, 2010 at 6:00pm. Lisa will answer questions from the audience and share stories about her personal background in the equestrian industry, how she met Calvin, and what life has been like as the wife of a victorious jockey. A meet and greet with Calvin will take place immediately following the discussion. The evening will include a coffee bar featuring My Racing Heart coffee and Dumante Verdenoce, a cash bar, hors d’oeuvres provided by Jarfi’s and a special door prize. The lecture is free for museum members and $10 for non-members and is being held in conjunction with the Museum’s “Equine Divine” exhibition taking place now through October 16, 2010. This event is sponsored by My Racing Heart.
