Stop in and do something nice for yourself! Every third Saturday of the month, as a gift to the community we are offering individual sound massage treatments on a pay-what-you-can basis, all day long! (You don't have to stay all day... unless you want to... :)
Tibetan sound healing is a time-honored practice used to reduce stress, increase energy and vitality, deepen meditation, among many other wonderful benefits. There are a number of traditional Tibetan treatments for specific purposes; during July's community offering day you will experience Relaxation Therapy. It is a great general treatment for all issues, especially stress and tension, and it takes only 20 minutes.
Please Note: Some of you may have seen singing bowls before, perhaps in a concert setting. This is not a concert! You will have a chance to experience this healing art as it has been practiced for thousands of years, immersed in the powerful vibrations of seven carefully selected Tibetan singing bowls. The sounds are beautiful to hear, even when just sitting nearby, so anyone who is not receiving a treatment at the time is welcome to get comfortable anywhere in the yoga studio and listen. You can even sip a cup of complimentary tea while taking timeout to relax and breathe.
What to wear/bring:
Comfortable, loose clothing
Minimal metal items such as jewelry or belts
Yoga mat/ blanket/pillow /eyepillow if desired
(Some yoga mats and blankets are supplied)
Mary handles all donations, cash or charge only, please.
See you next 3rd Saturday!
