Dr. Deshpande is a renowned vocalist of new generation and an artist of commendable talent. At a very young age he has developed his own distinct style, which shows shades of Gwalior, Jaipur and Agra gharanas. He has performed at various prestigious music conferences all over India such as Sawai Gandharva Music Festival (Pune), Tansen Samaroh (Gwalior), Sangeet Research Academy (Calcutta), etc. He is a recipient of many prestigious awards such as “Best Vocalist Award” by Sangeet Research Academy, Government National Scholarship, etc. Vikas Falnikar will accompany him on Harmonium and Harshad Kanetkar on Tabla.
