88°F2:50 PM Escribitionist is a dramatic comedy about the thin line between passion and obsession. Josh (Greg Kiser) is diligent about blogging every detail of his day. His bare-all style causes him to lose his job, which creates a domino effect in his life . In the process of seeking new employment, Josh meets a girl named Claire (Erin Deegan), whom he learns is a long-time reader and fan of the blog. Along the way, they both face the consequences of what happens when internet personas and real life collide.

The film was shot in Huntington, WV, and features many local actors. Music for the movie was composed and performed by Kentucky musician Sasha Colette who has performed many shows around the tri-state area.
“Escribitionist” is the second feature-length film written by David Smith, and the first feature Smith directed himself. Smith previously wrote and starred in the feature-length comedy “Maneater,” which was screened at several West Virginia film festivals as well as the Spooky Movie Film Festival in Washington D.C. “Escribitionist” is the first feature film from Apartment 2B Productions, a brand founded by Smith and his wife Molly Tilly. Tilly served as an executive producer and assistant director on “Escribitionist.”
