The English Grill at the Brown Hotel has partnered with Banfi Vintners to offer a four-course dinner expertly paired with classic and contemporary Italian wines on Wednesday, March 13 at 7 p.m. Executive chef Laurent Géroli has created delectable modern takes on Italian favorites like osso buco and carpaccio for the event. Sharron McCarthy, V.P. of Wine Education at Banfi Vintners, will be on hand to teach guests about each of the evening’s selections. Dubbed “America’s First Lady of Wine Ed,” McCarthy has traveled all 50 states over the course of two decades as an ever-popular guest speaker sharing her love for wine and extensive expertise. Bottles of each wine will be available for sale at the event through Westport Wine and Whiskey.
