Come to the Season Opener for Kentucky Homefront. Kentucky Homefront is a radio show recorded live in Clifton Center's Eifler Theatre. Featuring Kentucky's finest acoustic music, and its best storytellers. Shows are heard on WFPK and other public radio stations across Kentucky.
The first broadcast hour will feature Brooks Ritter, a Louisville-based singer/songwriter who’s been on WFPK’s local playlist lately and will be making his second Homefront appearance. He’ll be followed by the progressive country sounds of Frankfort, KY’s Downtown County Band, also making a return visit to the front porch.
The second broadcast hour opens with none other than Hank Sinatra, a Louisville original and the epitome of Keeping Louisville Weird. We’ve been trying to book him for years!
We’ll close the second broadcast hour with one of the best new rockabilly bands we’ve heard in years, E-town’s 3GC Band.
