Kids can have fun while helping feed the hungry

J-Serve is hosting a Children's Carnival for grades K-5 Sun., March 23, 2:30-4:30 p.m. at the JCC, 3600 Dutchmans Lane.

Activities Include a bounce house, obstacle course, basketball, face-painting, ring toss, fortune telling, games and a candy walk.

Admission is free with a donation to the Jewish Family and Career Services food bank. Items most needed are:

* Kosher for Passover : Matzo, Matzo ball soup, Matzo meal, Gefilte fish, Macaroons, Cake and Brownie mixes
* Cereal
* Baked beans
* Jelly
* Paper products

The Carnival is a project of J-Serve, the international day of Jewish Teen Service. J-Serve is entirely teen-lead. Volunteers are in 6-12 grades.
