A collaborative Game Development Hackathon. Come together, hone your game dev skills with like-minded folks, and build some great games!

The Global Game Jam (GGJ) is the world's largest game jam event taking place around the world at physical locations. Think of it as a hackathon focused on game development. It is the growth of an idea that in today’s heavily connected world, we could come together, be creative, share experiences and express ourselves in a multitude of ways using video games – it is very universal.

The GGJ stimulates collaboration and is not a competition.

Join us at LVL1 Hackerspace Friday January 24 (5pm) to Sunday January 26 (5pm) where the LVL1 Game Development Group Partnered with JSLou (Louisville JavaScript Group) will be hosting the local Louisville event.

Be prepared for 48 hours of learning, practice, and fun as we, along with over 400 groups from around the world share in this creative an connective experience.
