Fresh from their triumphant 6 month run of shows at the world famous Improv Comedy Club on 4th St. Live, the Louisville Improvisors get back in the car and head to the Highlands. "It's great to be back." said group masseuse Alec Volz. "We've been a lot of places and done a lot of shows over the years, but we got our start in the Highlands, so it's great to come back and see a lot of old faces." said group psychologist Eugene Landy. "It's just nice to be able to sleep in our own beds for a change." said Chris Anger of the Improvisors.

Louisville Improvisors are the host's and executive producers of Improvapalooza, since the year 2000. It is the longest running Improv Comedy festival in the Southeast, bringing together the best improvisers in the country, including writers, producers and performers from The Simpsons, SNL, The Groundlings and The Daily Show among others. Improvapalooza has also featured the top groups from Louisville, Nashville, St. Louis, Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Ft. Wayne, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Chicago.
Louisville Improvisors originated ensemble improvisation in Louisville in 1999 and have been entertaining audiences ever since. They are also the premier teaching facility of the art of improvisation in the region, attracting students from throughout the states of Kentucky and Indiana.
