Abbey Road on the River takes place over Memorial Day weekend and features more than 50 bands from around the world and all across the United States who "come together" to perform on 8 indoor and outdoor stages for more than 25,000 fans. Performers include 1960s British invasion sensation Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone, and the Legendary Rock and Roll and Songwriter Hall of Famer Leon Russell. Additional bands in the line-up for 2013, many of them international, include Grammy winners Peter Asher and Wings lead guitarist Laurence Juber, All You Need Is Love, The Newbees, BritBeat, Hal Bruce, Italy’s The Brothel Creepers, France’s Choking Smokers, Scotland’s Itchycoo Park, Holland’s The LSB Experience, The Norways’ Norwegian Beatles, Sweden’s The Repeatles, and England’s The RockIts, The Shakers, Them Beatles, Meet The Beatles and Wingsbanned. Festival goers can also enjoy browsing original artwork inspired by the Beatles, Beatles karaoke sessions, lectures by Fab Four experts, a costume contest & parade, and a Beatles merchandise marketplace.
