On Wednesday, July 6th at 7:00 p.m. at The Summit Barnes & Noble in Louisville, Meghan Carter, author of The Meghan Method: The Step-by-Step Guide to Decorating Your Home in Your Style, will be giving a free decorating workshop followed by a book signing as part of her cross-country tour showing homeowners that anyone — even the most design deficient — can create the home of his or her dreams. Contrary to most design experts, Meghan believes you don't need an interior designer to swoop in and save you. You have all the talent to decorate. You just need to learn how to use it.
Meghan's book has been selected by Barnes & Noble as the lead title in the House and Home Category. She spent over two years traveling coast-to-coast, interviewing and filming industry experts. She posted all the articles and videos from her research online at her website, AsktheDecorator.com so that the nation could learn along with her. Over 7 million video views and hundreds of reader emails later, Meghan decided that the only way to truly help people was to create a simple, step-by-step process that revolutionized the way people thought about their homes, decorating and themselves. That process became Meghan's book, which took 3 additional years of research and writing to publish.
