Children can learn the basics of sculpting, painting, and drawing in a fun class! (Workshops can be taken individually or together as a series.)
Alicia Criswell earned her BFA with a concentration in painting from Saint Mary's College of Notre Dame. Before returning to school to earn her MA in Counseling Psychology: Art Therapy, Alicia worked in special education and taught art classes in after school programs and community centers. Alicia continues to teach a variety of children and adult classes, including mixed media, painting, sculpture, paper making, and book making. Alicia utilizes her knowledge of fine art and therapeutic techniques to enhance her students' creativity and artistic ability.
Wednesday May 15 from 5:30-7PM - Learn basic clay sculpture techniques.
Wednesday May 22 from 5:30-7PM - Learn color mixing techniques to paint the sculpture from the previous week or small canvas board.
Wednesday May 29 from 5:30-7PM - Drawing with oil or chalk pastels.
$30 per workshop or $80 for all three. Snack included.
