The 2008 National Jug Band Jubilee takes place on Saturday, August 23rd at the Brown-Forman Amphitheater on River Road in Waterfront Park. And for the first time, this event is FREE to the public! Gates open at noon; music runs from 1-10pm. Featuring music by 6 great jug bands, including Louisville favorites The Juggernaut Jug Band! There will also be a workshop in the afternoon - you can jam on the jug, washboard, or kazoo - as well as some great Louisville jug band history. Refreshments will be offered for sale. Grab a lawn chair and join us! Please no pets or coolers.
