Collaborative art show “New evoLOUtion” at Gallery at the Brown in the Brown Hotel brings together eleven artists who are changing the face of Louisville’s art scene. Hand-picked works of contemporary art, ranging from photography to painting and sculpture, will be unveiled at an opening reception Friday, Feb. 15 from 6 to 8 p.m. The exhibit runs through Sunday, March 17.
The complete list of participating artists includes: Keith Linton, Gibbs Rounsavall, David Iacovazzi-Pau, Shawna Khalily, Chris Chappell, Jae Grady, Alexandra Roisen-Tash, Ashley Brossart, Ted Wathen, Aron Conway and Thaniel Ion Lee.
Gallery at the Brown features local artists quarterly to bring awareness to Kentucky’s visual arts scene. Located on the first floor of the hotel, Gallery at the Brown is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Admission is free.
