Will the holidays find you under a happy pile of new stuff? Start the New Year with a clean slate and bring your “old stuff” to the St. Andrew’s RECYCLING Event on Sunday, January 6 from 10 AM to 4 PM.
We’re taking all those odd items that you aren’t sure about! Electronics, Hazmat & packing materials!
Electronics: TVs, Computers (and all that stuff that comes with ‘em) and Microwaves etc. (please note there will be a $5 charge to cover these items as the City of Louisville will charge us 15 cents a pound for them!)
Hazmat: house hold cleaners, lead paint, oil containers, propane tanks, CDs, DVDs, printer ink cartridges, light bulbs & batteries.
Packing Materials: Styrofoam blocks & peanuts, air filled bags etc.
This is a neighborhood event designed to re-energize St. Andrew’s parish and our community to reduce, re-use and recycle in the New Year! In order to carry out the re-creation of the Earth with God's help, we are asking you to put a little more time and effort into being good stewards. Our mission is to safeguard the integrity of creation, sustain and renew the life of the earth!
Join the St. Andrew’s Green Team in making our city beautiful, safe and HEALTHY!
St. Andrews is located at the corner of Woodbourne Ave and Ellerbee just off Bardstown Road in the Highlands! Recycling will be collected in our parking lot!
Wishing you a safe and happy Holiday season and a fresh, uncluttered New Year!
