On the evening of Friday, September 26th, 2008, the Louisville Boat Club will be transformed into the opulent and elegant dining deck of the White Star Lines ship R.M.S. Titanic. From the ship’s menu to Edwardian costumes to replicas of the jewelry worn by Mrs. John Jacob Astor and the Unsinkable Mollie Brown, attendees will be treated to an extraordinary dinner and auction benefiting the Episcopal Church of the Advent.
“A Night to Remember” features a silent auction including dinners at local restaurants, spa services, tickets to sporting events, collectible and designer jewelry, antiques, and several works of art. Elizabeth Monarch of Remax 100 will auction a select group of items for the live auction, which include a week at a condominium in a private gated community in Pawley’s Island, South Carolina; a week at a 1.5 million dollar chalet atop the Smokey Mountains in Maggie Valley, North Carolina; and a week at a golf-front condominium in Fort Meyers, Florida.
