Enjoy refreshments and music by the Jamey Aebersold Jazz Quartet at the opening reception (free and open to the public) for "Form, Not Function: Quilt Art at the Carnegie", a national juried exhibit of contemporary art quilts featuring 25 works by artists from across the United States. Over the ten years that this exhibit has been held, it has served to broaden the concept of art quilts and gain recognition for this evolving art form. Please visit our website at www.carnegiecenter.org or call 812-944-7336 for information on exhibit and related programs. Reception and exhibit sponsored by the Carnegie Center, Inc., with additional support provided by the DELvelopment Foundation in memory of textiles artist Alma Lesch. Museum hours Tuesday-Saturday, 10 am-5:30 pm. Admission is free.
