Quilters’ Day Out – March 23, 2013
In celebration of National Quilters’ Day Out, the Sew ‘n’ Tell Quilt Guild will be sponsoring its sixth Annual Southern Indiana Quilters’ Day Out on March 23, 2013. This exciting event will be held at the Tri-County Shrine Center, 701 Potters Lane in Clarksville, Indiana. The day-long occasion will start at 10:00 AM and end at 4:00 PM. Door prizes will be given every half hour and Grand Prize drawings will be held throughout the day (must be present to win). There is a $5.00 donation at the door.
This extravaganza is open to all quilt and craft enthusiasts! It will include quilting demonstrations, multiple door prizes, quilt and craft vendors, a display of guild quilted items, a display of antique sewing machines you can take the opportunity to actually sew on and of course our sale table with books, fabric, notions and other interesting items.
A special program will be presented at 11:30 a.m. by Donna Schultz on Underground Railroad Blocks. Scissor sharpening will be available for a fee and concessions will also be available or you may bring your own. Electricity will be available for those who wish to bring their sewing machines.
For more information, contact Carol Fridley at 812-945-9507 or inquire on the Sew ‘N Tell Quilt Guild page on Facebook.
