A chance to try one of ancient Tibet's secrets to health and longevity:
Every 3rd Saturday of the month, as a gift to the community we are offering individual sound massage treatments on a pay-what-you-can basis, all day long! (You don't have to stay all day... unless you want to!)
Tibetan sound healing is a time-honored practice used to reduce stress, relieve/prevent illness, increase energy and vitality, deepen meditation, among many other wonderful benefits. There are a number of traditional Tibetan treatments for specific purposes that we offer clients; For September we have a real treat in store for you! Stop in and receive your choice of a traditional relaxation therapy sound-bath, immersed in the powerful vibrations of several carefully selected Tibetan singing bowls, OR try our newly created binaural beats acoustic headphones! We created these headphones in order blend specific sound frequencies that encourage brainwave sycnhronization and direct them right into your brain! We've crafted this technique for modern-day concerns such as chronic stress and anxiety, depression, migraines, fatigue, insomnia, ADD/ADHD, and unwanted addictive behaviour.
The sounds are beautiful and soothing to hear, even when just sitting nearby, so anyone who is not receiving a treatment at the time is welcome to get comfortable anywhere in the yoga studio and listen. You can even sip a cup of complimentary tea or browse a book in the "library" while taking timeout to relax and breathe.
What to wear/bring:
Comfortable, loose clothing
Minimal metal items such as jewelry or belts
Yoga mat/ blanket/pillow /eyepillow if desired
(There will be some yoga mats, blankets and cushions available)
Donations are welcome: see Mary (cash or charge.)
We're looking forward to seeing you!
