It's time for the 8th annual Swashbucklers Ball which is planned for Saturday, January 19th. This magical evening of fun is the signature fund-raising event for St. Mary’s Center and is held at The Seelbach Medallion Ballroom from 6:30 p.m. to 11:45. The party includes dinner, live music by Velvet Soul, dancing and an opportunity to win exciting prizes . Velvet Soul performed at the Jimmy Buffett concert at Riverbend-Cincinnati OH on the Time-Warner Party Plaza stage.
Thanks to Jesse Mudd and Teresa Neuman who are co-chairing the festivities to support our much-loved friends and family members at St. Mary's Center.
The Swashbucklers Ball is all about pirates and this year we have added a new twist. In addition to the pirate theme, our celebration will also include Parrot Heads. Attire for the evening is traditional party duds, optional pirate costumes or Jimmy Buffett themed outfits. Prizes are given for the Best Costumes for both our guests and St. Mary's participants. We encourage you to create a costume and try to win our Pirate loot!
There will be silent and live auctions items and our pirate treasures include gifts such as a NuLu Scooter, four lower-level tickets to The Who Concert at the YUM Center! on February 16th and much more. Art pieces created by the students are favorite auction items. Dinner tickets include complimentary wine with dinner, two drink tickets and cost $125 per person. The After Party (dance only) tickets include two drink tickets and cost $75 per person. If you would like additional information, please call Ann at 244-0082.
