Applications are available at the Swiss Wine Festival and Switzerland County Tourism offices for entry into the 2012 Swiss Wine Festival Grand Festival Parade. The event takes place Sat., Aug. 25, 2012 beginning at 10:00am in downtown Vevay, IN.
Entry into the parade is $5.00 and should integrate this year’s festival theme—The Grape Get-Together. Fees should be paid at the time entry forms are submitted. Entry forms not having fees attached will not be considered until payment is received.
Categories of entries include bands, musical groups, floats, antique vehicles, other vehicles, equestrian, and more. Types of entries include walking or motorized.
The parade line-up is from 7:00-9:30am near the Switzerland County 4-H Fairgrounds at 507 Vineyard St.—located directly behind Besi, the old shoe factory building. Entries reporting to the parade headquarters after 9:30am will be placed to the rear of the parade.
Judging for trophies and awards will take place from 9:00-9:45am. Entries must be in line by 9:00am to be considered for prizes.

The Swiss Wine Festival office is located at 105 West Pike Street in Vevay. The Switzerland County Tourism Visitors Center is located at 128 East Main Street in Vevay.
