Car collectors and enthusiasts are invited to enter their vehicles into the On the River Car Show in Vevay, IN. Open to the public, the event will be held on Sat., September 15, 2012 at Paul Ogle Riverfront Park.
Registration is $20 and is from 8am-12:30pm. Dash plaques will be given to the first 200 entries, with over 120 trophies to be awarded during a presentation that begins at 4:30pm.
National Street Rod Association safety checks and event shirts will be available. Auto-related vendors are welcome to attend. Emergency vehicles will be on display throughout the event, as well as the Phi Air Medical helicopter out of Lexington, KY, pending inclement weather or emergency. Weather permitting, Mac’s Seaplane Service out of Rising Sun, IN, will be offering rides.
Food and drinks will be provided by Decisions Catering and the Jeff-Craig Fire Department. Oldies music will be provided by TC Fairline and Rockin Renee.
Giveaways will be available, including a peddle car, tool box fridge, and hot rod grill.
The On the River Car Show is hosted by Mike Bear and Floyd Canada, members of the Switzerland County Antique Tractor and Engine Club. All proceeds from the event will be donated to charity.
A cruise-in will be held on Fri., September 14 from 7-11pm at Paul Ogle Riverfront Park. Live music will be provided by The Makeshifts.
