The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Kentucky and Southeast Indiana chapter, is celebrating 47 years of walking for the movement by hosting their first ever Walk MS Tailgate Party and post-walk Pancake Breakfast. This event is open to the public and admission is $1. There will be music, face painting, inflatables, and interviews with WAVE-3 TV news anchor Dawn Gee! Vendor booths open at 8 a.m., opening ceremonies will be at 9 a.m., the walk will begin at 9:30 a.m., and the 100-yard dash for children will commence at 10:15 a.m. The morning will round out with a cook-out luncheon at 10:45 a.m. Walk MS helps raise critical funds that support cutting edge research, drive change through advocacy, facilitate professional education, and provide programs and services to help people with MS move their lives forward. Join as an individual, join a team, or create a team and help to support their mission: a world free of MS!
