Welcome to A Walk Through Ancient Rome - a journey through the life, customs, and experiences of the people who lived in this period of antiquity. This day camp accurately recreates the Ancient Roman experience in a manner that's fun and educational. Focus areas of A Walk Through Ancient Rome include: mythology and religion, architecture and design, athletics, cuisine, government, literature, and lifestyle. After exploring these topical areas, participants will reconstruct life in a Roman state, and offer parents tours of their city! Beyond a detailed, highly immersive educational experience in Roman history, participants will acquire and sharpen skills in creative writing, basic research-methods, and introductory Conversational-Latin.
