Join us on Saturday, April 21 at Waverly Park from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm for a volunteer cleanup. If you haven't visited Waverly in a while, you won't believe your eyes! It has been completely redone and is an amazing park with bigger parking, more mown area, a renewed fishing lake with fishing "piers" and a new shelter!
Participants can work alongside our Trail Team and KYMBA volunteers on a trail maintenace project (ages 14 and up), join Land Stewards in invasive plant removal (ages 14 and up) or perform litter patrol around the lake and play areas (all ages welcome).
Closed-toe shoes are required; reusable water bottles are recommended. Otherwise, dress for the weather - we'll provide tools, gloves, trash bags, instructions; everything you need to give an hour or two (or 4) of your time and help keep a wonderful park, well, Wonderful!
