On Thursday, August 7th at 7 PM (at our Frankfort Ave location) Carmichael's welcomes Minnesota native Alan Grostephan for a reading from his taut and moving novel "Bogota." Named one of the best ten books of fiction of 2013 by The Wall Street Journal, "Bogota" is also long-listed for the Pen/Robert W. Bingham Prize. Mr. Grostephan will be joined by former Louisvillian Ashley Farmer who will read from her new collection of stories "Beside Myself.' Ms. Farmer currently serves as managing editor for Juked and lives in Southern California. We hope you'll be able to join us!
