New! Yogic Sleep is a very powerful relaxation technique that, when practiced successfully, can be as restorative as sleep. This new class offers a powerful introduction to Yogic Sleep as well as an exploration of stress, the body’s response to it and the power of breath to release it. All sessions conclude with a Yoga Nidra session. You’ll leave with Yoga-Nidric methods to increase flexibility and release tension. You’ll also discover the power of affirmations and intentions when presented in a Yoga-Nidric state. Instructor Joy P. Sherman, former educator who is certified in Level I and II Amrit Yoga and Yoga Nidra. This class meets for 6 weeks on Thursday nights.
