If you’re coming into Louisville for the mid-March basketball games and you’re looking for a break in the action, come on down to the 4th Street Wharf and enjoy a lunch or dinner cruise on the riverboat Spirit of Jefferson. With two enclosed decks, she is a boat for all seasons. Enjoy a delicious buffet meal, and a two-hour trip on the Ohio River. Lunch cruises board at 11:30 am and cruise from 12 – 2 pm. Dinner cruises board at 6:30 and cruise from 7 – 9 pm.
Prices: Lunch cruises - $32 adults, $31 seniors, $22 children (ages 3 – 12). Dinner cruises - $42 adults, $41 seniors, $26 children.

Do you have a friend/family member suffering from a strange addiction?
It's hard to watch someone you love struggle with an addiction, especially when that
addiction seems strange, unusual and completely unstoppable.
A major documentary series would like to offer professional assistance
to anyone struggling with uncommon and uncontrollable compulsions
and addictions.
Our series profiles those suffering with addictions that may seem unusual,
but nonetheless, very harmful and challenging. We allow friends and family
members to discuss the addiction in a safe and controlled environment
and then we allow those suffering with their addictions to receive help.
If you have someone in your life that is ingesting or smelling something
dangerous or engaging in odd behavior that is damaging their quality of
life, please contact us so we can help.

Mosaico Andalus - Flamenco Production

FlamencoTalk raises the bar again when it comes to delivering a top notch Hispanic cultural program many in the community have come to expect. On March 17, 2012 Kentucky Center’s Bomhard Theater will welcome Antonio Granjero and Roberto Lorente as part of the stellar cast of international artists of Mosaico Andalus – a new flamenco production presented by FlamencoTalk.
Through a kaleidoscope of colors and emotions, Mosaico Andalus, or Andalusian Mosaic, will unravel the complex patterns of ancient flamenco forms that make up this art of contrasts. Age-old rhythms, coursing like a heartbeat through the movement of dancers, answering the passionate plea of the guitar and the laments of the cantaores (singers), create a palpable tension that’s waiting to explode like a sonic boom in a fury that is flamenco.
Mosaico Andalus is directed by Antonio Granjero (Jerez de la Frontera) and will feature singers Roberto Lorente (Madrid) and José Cortés (Almeria), as well as other national and local talent.
