Kentucky Kingdom Opening Day

With 44 total rides, (8 with a maximum thrill rating), Kentucky Kingdom is planning to have the best year in its history in 2008. Along with rollercoasters  and speed racing, the park has plenty of kid’s entertainment, games, concessions and WB character appearances. You’ll also find Splashwater Kingdom, Kentucky’s largest water park, multi-passenger rafting adventures and a total of seven water park rides. There’s something in store for everyone in your group!
New to Kentucky Kingdom last year was the park’s largest waterpark expansion in its history. Deluge offers the world's only 4-person HydroMagnetic rafting experience that can be shared with family and friends. Riders will experience multiple roller coaster-like plummeting drops then rocket uphill into an enclosed tunnel while getting blasted with water from all sides.
For the bravest of souls, be sure to check out Chang, Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom’s stand-up roller coaster of 4155 feet of unbridled fear. For those visitors with a lower tolerance of ride excitement, the Road Runner Express is a great choice. For families, Kentucky Kingdom has the Tin Lizzies, the Flying Dutchman and the Giant Wheel located on the boardwalk.
Kentucky Kingdom also has exciting events and entertainment for kids only! Meet all your favorite crime fighters including the Batman and Robin and Justice League heroes Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, and The Flash. At the Looney Tunes Talent Show, Bugs Bunny and Sylvester put their pipes to the test in the vocal challenge of the summer. And at the WB Kids’ Club, get ready to get wet in this crowd-pleasing game show pitting Team Bugs against Team Daffy.
