    Dwight Yoakam at French Lick Resort
    Recently nominated for 2013 Americana Honors and Awards’ Artist of the Year with a whopping twelve gold and nine platinum or multi-platinum albums, Yoakam makes his first appearance at French Lick Resort. His latest album, Warner Bros. release 3 Pears, demonstrates his talent for incorporating multiple influences into one fluid piece. More than 30 Yoakam singles have charted with 22 racing to Top 20 status, including Honky Tonk Man, Please Please Baby, Little Ways, I Sang Dixie, It Only Hurts When I Cry, Fast as You and Thousand Miles from Nowhere.     Carmichael's to host the Henry Brothers
    On Saturday, November 16th at 4 PM, Carmichael's welcomes David and Joe Henry for a discussion of their new book "Furious Cool : Richard Pryor and the World that Made Him." Joe Henry is an American singer-songwriter, guitarist, and Grammy award winning producer. He has released 12 studio albums and produced multiple recordings for other artists. Louisville resident David Henry is an author, screenwriter, video and broadcast producer. "Furious Cool" is their first book. They are also at work on a screenplay based on Pryor’s life and career.
